Iftar – Dry food distribution
Dawa Somalia implemented Iftar – Dry food distribution project through which food assistance was delivered to vulnerable Households living on the outskirts of Mogadishu, specifically in Garasbaaley District – Qeer abuur IDP site.
This project was targeted 110 households displaced by drought, who were in urgent need of support and humanitarian assistance.
Each household received:
- Rice – 10 kg
- Flour – 10 kg
- Sugar – 10 kg
- Cooking oil – 3 liters
- Dates – 2 kg
This initiative forms part of DAWA Somalia’s ongoing efforts to support vulnerable communities, ease the burden on families affected by drought, and help reduce the impact of harsh living conditions.
